George W. Bush meets himself as a boy, and as a boy meets himself as a man.

It came as something of a surprise to a lot of people when George W. Bush said his favorite book from childhood was one actually published in 1969, a year after he had graduated from Yale! But those are the folks who don't know about the Time Machine!

It started innocently enough. He was trying to rescue a lost hamster under the washing machine, when a couple of bumped wires crossed. With the shock he got, George lurched forward and found himself trapped inside the washer. Something happened under the machine that we cannot now fully recount; suffice it to say, it had something to do with an electrified hamster now-a-genius able to fashion the raw materials of a washing machine into the sophisticated Time Machine pictured above!

Later, when the rinse cycle ended, George managed to kick open the door. But when he looked out there was no sign of home or hamster or anything else he recognized!

With the passing years, he's had many experiences and adventures.
